Brasserie Mansfeld is nestled in the Rives de Clausen. Whether you go there for lunch or a romantic dinner, you'll have a good time. Food is divine. Oh, and the nicest of all, to me, is the terrasse: the place where to book a table for a summer dinner, surrounded by trees and candels.

According to Tageblatt, it will be soon possible to fly directly from Luxembourg (Findel) to Istanbul...hurray!

I wish there was also a direct flight Luxembourg - Stockholm. 

Gare Art Festival

At first, it was rather strange to see those tree-trunks lyng on Place de Paris. But then some artists came and gave a new life to the trunks. Inspiring.

It took place during the "Gare Art Festival". Until the 13 August, you can admire the pieces of work at the train station.

Marilyn in Lux.

Until the 30th of September, you will be able to enjoy the exhibition, consisting of 24 black and white photographs of Marilyn Monroe taken by German photographer Manfred Linus Kreiner, displayed on Place Guillaume II. 

Thanks to Luxembourg photographer Raymond Reuter these photographs are now on display in Luxembourg. It is only the 2nd time that a public audience is given access to the snaps; the only other time they were exhibited was in June 2011 at the Café Einstein, Unter den Linden in Berlin, with the help of Zeit Magazin. Feels good to be privileged that way!

50 years after her death, Marilyn still exudes an aura of sensuality.
