On Saturday May 15, 2010 the 5th edition of the Luxembourg marathon was taking place. With friends of mine, I decided to take part to the half marathon, i.e., a little bit more than 21 kilometers.
Le samedi 15 mai 2010 se tenait la 5ème édition du marathon de Luxembourg. Avec des amies, j'ai décidé de prendre part au semi-marathon, i.e., un tout petit peu plus de 21 kilometres.
Althoug a departure with a chilly weather, the atmosphere was great thanks to the different samb group spread all over Luxembourg City. the Sun finally came! To said the truth, the route was hilly. I don't know how the bride made it till the end.
Malgré un départ avec une température assez basse, l'atmosphère était superbe grâce aux différentes groupes de samba disséminés un peu partout dans Luxembourg ville. Le Soleil a fini par venir ! Pour dire vrai, le parcours était vallonné. Je ne sais pas comment la mariée a pu terminer.

Even the best runner made it in 2 hours and 19 minutes instead of the "usual" 2 hours and 5 minutes..a truly difficult marathon, am telling you! For my part, I finished the half marathon in 2 hours and 2 minutes and thus was able to see the arrival of the winner. see you next year, on the starting line?
Même le meilleur coureur a mis 2 heures et 19 minutes au lieu des "habituelles" 2 heures et 5 minutes..un marathon réellement difficile je vous dis ! Pour ma part, j'ai terminé le semi en 2 heures et 2 minutes et ai donc pu ainsi voir l'arrivée du vainqueur. A l'année prochaine, sur la ligne de départ ?
